Where do we start?

Xsellence's Answer: Most clients start by having their business analyzed. This process gives the consultant/ coach a crystal clear understanding of where you are and where you want to be. Hence Xsellence's tag line:.Get from where you are; To where you want to be.™.


Why would I use a consultant / coach?

Xsellence's Answer: There are numerous reasons to use a consultant/ coach. Think about it: every sports figure or successful company has at least one outside advisor helping them. Below are some reasons Clients have consider using us..
  • There is something at stake (a challenge, stretch goal or opportunity), and it is urgent, compelling or excited or all the above.
  • Company profits or principal(s) salaries (ownership return) are not where you think they should be.
  • There is a gap in knowledge, skills, confidence, or resources.
  • A big stretch is being asked or required, and it is time sensitive.
  • There is a desire to accelerate results.
  • There is a lack of clarity, and there are choices to be made.
  • The individual is extremely successful, and success has started to become problematic.
  • Work and life are out of balance, and this is creating unwanted consequences.

What does Xsellence do?

Xsellence's Answer: Xsellence discovers the real need of the company in relationship to the clients issues under discussion.

As an example...Through our discussions with our Clients they may see their issue (blocker) as Customer Service and may ask us to provide a limited service (e.g. a lecture or presentation on Customer Service, which may not actually solve the clients problem(s), Xsellence consultants/ coaches will attempt to discover the the real need of the company in relation to the subject under discussion, ie: is this a request for only a "refresher" session or is there a problem with Customer Service? If the latter is the case, we must offer an honest opinion to the Client.

Example: with probing questions and tools Xsellence consultants may discover the reasons behind the bad Customer Service, which is but a symptom and that the problem may lie either in shortcomings in supervision, management or human resources practices, a deficient operational aspect, or inadequate training.

At this point the Xsellence consultant/ coach will be candid with the Client and offer an opinion regarding the effectiveness of a generic Customer Service session, explaining the necessity of correcting the root of the problem (blocker) before the actual delivery of training sessions to front-line employees.

IN SUMMARY: Xsellence consultants/ coaches will first clarify goals, discover the root(s) of the problem(s) (blockers), help correct those problems (blockers), then guide management and employees through In-Service training towards the desired result. Our coaching plays a huge role post-implementation after the management and employees are trained In-session they now receive Post-session coaching through our "Consultant-On-Call-Program".

 


How does it work?

Xsellence's Answer: Your future becomes more certain by clarifying what you really want fo you and your business and using a powerful set of tools and techniques to create a vision of your successful outcomes.

You stop thrashing around (throwing ideas against the wall) with activity or behaviors that do not deliver to this success.

Our hybrid Consultants/ Coaches plays the role of Company Physician. A good physician does not prescribe antibiotics or cough drops relying on the patient's diagnosis, without examining the patient, or depending on the patient's budget. We act as your Company Physician (xamining, diagnosing, prescribing and tailoring a remedy to fit the patient).

With this clarity, tools and new set of actions to start you off in overcoming current problems or dissatifactions and blockers to your vision of success you find yourself continually alert to all opportunities and activities that can accelerate your journey.


How long will it take / How much time do I need to commit?

Xsellence's Answer: A first meeting is normally arranged as a "Business Analysis" meeting. Normally we spend 60- 90 minutes exploring what you want out of our time with Xsellence, what you want out of life, what's blocking you and specific areas for development. A headline plan of action is agreed.The remainder of the "Analysis" lasts 1 1/2 to 2 days.

We serve our Clients best by proposing to follow this preliminary discussion and diagnosis with an in-debth needs assessment that will involve a impartial study (accompanied by interviews) of the company: its present situation, its management/ managerial style, employees, operation, past and present achievements, and shortcomings, as compared to the desired goals and objectives.

When a client and Xsellence mutually agree to invest in a "Working Agreeement" to fix the issues, problem(s) or blockers the Client is giving a Management commitment to improving the situation in a structured manner. The company will be ready to advance and improve progressively, with the involvement of all its players. It will stop stifling fires as they erupt and managing crisis after crisis, but advance as a unified force in a progressive manner.

Clients choose to arrange new or repeat sessions only to explore certain areas in more debth or to concentrate on a different area of their business or a different business venture all together.

A half hour follow-up check is included in the main session costs and is pre-booked at the time to check on progress on your commitments.


Is Xsellence consulting right for me?


Xsellence's Answer:
To be frank, Xsellence is not for everyone. If you want open-ended, need to be coddled, fluffy and don't want the truth than it's best that you look elsewhere. If you want truthful, precise, clear, contained and focused then read on.

Xsellence is right for you if you value your time and want quality for your money. You also want high return on your investment.
